plaintext JOB SUMMARY The Inventory Analyst - Supply Chain - Materials Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient flow of supplies and materials within the organization, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities - Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify discrepancies and trends. - Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and obsolescence. - Ensure accurate tracking of all inventory items from receipt to distribution. - Collaborate with various departments to forecast supply needs and manage stock. - Optimize reorder points and safety stock levels based on usage patterns and lead times. - Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories. - Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in inventory management. - Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers regarding orders and deliveries. - Assist in the evaluation and selection of new inventory management systems or technologies. - Prepare reports on inventory status, turnover rates, and key performance indicators. Schedule / Shift Standard business hours, Monday to Friday. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. - Proven experience in inventory management and supply chain operations. - Strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices. - Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inventory analysis or supply chain management.
