Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient

Location: Hico, TX
Position Type: Permanent Placement
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary Range: $32.00 – $35.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Relocation Bonus: Up to $3,000

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their outpatient team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in an outpatient setting.

This is a full-time, weekday position with no weekend requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient mobility, strength, and function.
• Monitor patient progress and report updates to supervising PT.
• Document patient treatment and progress accurately in WebPT.
• Educate patients on exercises and home therapy programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies and state regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Texas PTA License – Required
• BLS Certification – Required
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience – Required
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred
• Proficiency with WebPT or similar EMR systems preferred
