Advanced Oncology Pharmacist

Role Overview

Specialized Clinical Pharmacist role focused on:

• Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT)
• Hematology/Oncology
• CAR T-cell therapy
• BiTE therapies

Practice Setting

• Outpatient Cancer Care Clinic
• Inpatient BMT/Oncology Unit

Work Schedule

• Full-Time
• Day Shift
• Rotating Weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize and monitor oncology pharmacotherapy
• Develop and manage oncology treatment protocols/order sets
• Support stem cell transplant regimens:
• • Autologous
  • Allogeneic
• Perform therapeutic drug monitoring
• Counsel oncology/BMT patients
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and research teams
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committees
• Function as a clinical subject-matter expert with strong autonomy

Required Qualifications

Education & Licensing

• PharmD required
• Active Nevada Pharmacist License

Certifications

• BCOP (Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist) strongly preferred/required

Experience

Either:

• PGY2 in Oncology/BMT
  OR
• 5+ years oncology clinical pharmacist experience

Preferred Background

• Hematology/Oncology experience
• BMT experience
• Collaborative practice environment experience
• Advanced cellular therapy exposure

Weekend Differential:

• +$1.50/hour
