Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Shift: Day Shift
In this role, the RN will provide specialized perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures.
The CVOR Nurse will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care throughout the surgical process.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $83,000 – $130,000 annually
- Competitive compensation based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment for procedures
- Assist surgeons during cardiovascular surgeries
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Maintain sterile field and ensure compliance with surgical safety protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care activities accurately in medical records
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 3 years of CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing experience
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and operating room protocols
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
