Clinical Pharmacist + Sign on Bonus $10K - URGENT HIRE

We are looking for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our team! You will be responsible for dispensing drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.

Available Shifts:

• Mixed Shift: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM & 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

Job Summary ​​​​​​:

We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is providing general clinical and pharmacy services, including supervision of technical staff. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret orders and transcribe or verify them accurately and efficiently into the pharmacy computer system.
• Accurately compound and dispense pharmaceuticals.
• Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies and appropriateness of drug and dose.
• Sustain the hospital formulary, minimising nonformulary procurement's, utilising therapeutic interchanges and promotes rational drug therapy selection.
• Provide accurate and timely medication information to healthcare staff and patients.
• Assist with clinical services such as drug consults, nutrition support, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulant monitoring, pain management, IV to PO, renal dosing and other programs as defined by Pharmacy Leadership.
• Document all clinical activities and interventions accurately and completely.
• Complete notification reports regarding medication errors and adverse drug reactions.
• Effectively supervise pharmacy operation activities and provide support to the whole pharmacy team.

​Qualifications:

• Open to New Grad Pharmacists that completed an internship in a hospital setting. Looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of recent hospital experience or the completion of a PGY-1 in a hospital setting. *MUST HAVE ACUTE HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE LAST YEAR
• B.S. or PharmD from and ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy required
• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate Florida State Board of Pharmacy.

Shift Differentials: Evenings: $3.00/hr ; Nights: $6.00/hr

Sign on: $10,000 Sign On Bonus to be paid out in 5 instalments over a 2 year commitment.

Relocation: Case by Case.
