This role will focus on documenting current-state finance processes, analyzing financial data across multiple systems, and helping prepare the organization for a future ERP migration. Location: Seattle (Harbor Island area) - 4–5 days/week
Schedule: Monday – Friday (Core Business Hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Document and analyze end-to-end finance workflows and business processes.
- Map, validate, and reconcile financial data flows across systems.
- Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and process improvement opportunities.
- Extract and analyze data from SQL Server environments, ERP systems, and SaaS applications.
- Support data cleansing, validation, and migration readiness efforts.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to improve data quality and support future-state finance processes.
- Experience supporting ERP transformation or ERP implementation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, corporate finance, and payroll processes.
- Hands-on experience using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and writing SQL queries.
- Experience extracting and analyzing data from ERP or financial systems.
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform data validation and cleanup activities.
- Experience documenting workflows, business processes, and data flows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, including legacy versions.
- Familiarity with Great Plains (GP) environments.
- Background in finance operations, accounting, or controllership functions.
- Experience working within complex or poorly documented legacy system environments.
