Radiologic Technologist – Mobile X-Ray
Location: Charleston, SC
Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Weekend Shift Differential: Additional $4.00/hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM EST
Weekend/Holiday: Rotating weekends and holidays
On-Call: Based on case load; additional hours will be paid as overtime when applicable
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist – Mobile X-Ray to provide diagnostic imaging services at nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, correctional facilities, home health locations, and other healthcare settings.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable traveling to various facilities, operating portable X-ray equipment, and working independently while delivering high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide mobile X-ray services at nursing homes, healthcare facilities, skilled nursing facilities, correctional facilities, home health locations, and other assigned locations.
- Perform and process X-ray examinations using portable digital radiography (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment.
- Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images.
- Submit and transmit images to Radiologists for interpretation.
- Perform EKGs and transmit results to Cardiologists when required.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT(R.T.) certification required.
- Current South Carolina State License required.
- Compact license accepted, if applicable.
- Limited license is not accepted.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Must maintain all required state licenses, ARRT certification, health requirements, and operational requirements.
- COVID-19 vaccination required, or appropriate documentation for an approved exemption.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to push and pull portable imaging equipment weighing approximately 50–100 lbs.
- Vehicle ramps and pulleys may be used to assist with equipment transportation.
- Equipment may require additional physical effort when transported inside healthcare facilities or patients' homes.
- Ability to perform repetitive equipment handling and physical activities throughout the workday.
