Job Description
The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care to high and moderate acuity critical care patients within an interdisciplinary care team. Utilizing established nursing models, the RN provides comprehensive, compassionate care and advocates for patients and families while supporting the organization’s vision to enhance patient experience and clinical outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year ICU nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for high and moderate acuity ICU patients
- Coordinate care among interdisciplinary team members
- Advocate for patient and family needs and preferences
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergencies promptly
- Administer medications safely and accurately
- Document clinical information thoroughly and timely
- Educate patients and families on care plans and treatments
- Adhere to departmental and regulatory compliance standards
- Collaborate effectively within the care team to optimize patient outcomes
