Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)

Location: Goldsboro, North Carolina

Position Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week | 12-Hour Shifts (Shift details discussed during interview)

The RN will provide high-quality perioperative nursing care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating room environment.

The Operating Room features 13 OR suites and supports multiple surgical specialties including general surgery, robotics, urology, vascular, dental, plastics, ENT, ophthalmology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and gynecology.

Compensation & Incentives

Hourly Pay Range: $33.00 – $54.00

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and competent nursing care in the operating room environment.
• Prepare patients and operating rooms for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures.
• Monitor patient status and maintain sterile surgical environments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery.
• Document care activities and patient outcomes in accordance with hospital standards.
• Participate in professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
• BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience required
• Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing program
