Respiratory Therapist | Acute Care Setting | Miami, FL US

Schedule: Mixed Shifts (Rotating Weekends)

We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in alignment with departmental standards and scope of practice. This role involves performing diagnostic testing, delivering therapeutic interventions, and managing patients on both invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and document patient assessments (breath sounds, airway status, cuff pressures).
• Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate respiratory therapy needs and outcomes.
• Administer respiratory therapies (oxygen, aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy).
• Assist with artificial airway placement and manage mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patient response and intervene as needed.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of RRT experience required
• RRT / Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP) required
• Associate degree or Vocational Program completion
• BLS certification required within 30 days of start

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Range: $30.34 – $41.50/hr
