Med-Surg Registered Nurse | Days/Nights | Sign-On Bonus up to $30K

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity medical-surgical unit. This role offers exposure to a diverse patient population, including medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurological cases, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Day and Night shifts available
• Rotating weekends required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with clinical standards
• Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Unit Details

• Department: Med/Surg (Neuro, Ortho, Nephrology specialties)
• Beds per unit: 49
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 6:1
• Patient acuity: Higher-than-average Med/Surg (stable trauma patients, minimal drips)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care RN experience
• ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program
• Active RN license or compact license

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Pay: $30 – $41/hour (based on experience)
• Shift Differentials:
• • +$4/hour for nights
  • +$4/hour for weekends
• Sign-On Bonus:
• • $30,000 (Nights – 2-year commitment)
  • $10,000 (Days – 2-year commitment)
• Relocation assistance: Case-by-case
