- Weekend and on-call requirements discussed during the interview.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients before surgery and ensure readiness.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families regarding pre-operative care.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing (Required)
- BSN Preferred
- Current Kansas RN License
- BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross) within 90 days of hire
- Recent hospital experience preferred
