We are looking for an experienced mid-level Associate Contracts Counsel to join a financial services organization in Henderson, Nevada. In this role, you will work closely with the General Counsel on a broad range of legal matters, with a strong emphasis on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating business agreements. This opportunity is well suited for a licensed attorney who brings sound judgment, strong contract management skills, and experience supporting corporate legal needs in a regulated environment. Relocation reimbursed. This is an in-office role with a competitive base salary and an annua discretionary bonus of up to 15% plus profit sharing.


Responsibilities:

• Partner with the General Counsel to provide legal support across commercial and corporate matters affecting the business.

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements to help protect the company’s interests and reduce risk.

• Prepare and manage confidentiality agreements and other routine legal documents required for business operations.

• Advise internal stakeholders on contract terms, legal exposure, and practical solutions that align with business objectives.

• Assist with legal issues connected to Chapter 11 and related restructuring matters as needed.

• Evaluate contractual obligations and help ensure agreements are organized, accurate, and consistent with company standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal questions arising from vendor, customer, and partner relationships.

• Licensed attorney in good standing in at least one State.

• At least 4 years of legal experience, including substantial work with commercial contracts.

• Demonstrated ability to negotiate, interpret, and draft a wide range of business agreements.

• Experience supporting corporate counsel functions within a company or similarly complex legal environment.

• Familiarity with financial services or other regulated industries is preferred.

• Knowledge of confidentiality agreements, contract risk assessment, and general corporate legal matters.

• Exposure to bankruptcy or Chapter 11-related legal work is a plus.

• Strong written communication, analytical thinking, and sound judgment with careful attention to detail.
