Job Summary The Bilingual Customer Service Representative provides exceptional customer support by handling inbound calls from banking customers in both English and Spanish. This role is responsible for resolving customer inquiries, educating customers on banking products and services, processing account-related requests, maintaining accurate records, and identifying opportunities to recommend additional products that meet customer needs. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering a high-quality customer experience in a fast-paced call center environment. Key Responsibilities Answer inbound customer calls professionally while providing exceptional customer service. Communicate fluently in both English and Spanish to assist a diverse customer base. Resolve customer inquiries during the first interaction whenever possible. Provide accurate information regarding banking products, services, accounts, and policies. Maintain customer confidentiality and ensure compliance with all bank policies and procedures. Accurately enter, update, and verify customer information in internal systems. Process customer requests and complete required documentation promptly. Utilize internal systems to document customer interactions, troubleshoot issues, and perform data entry. Educate customers on available banking products and services while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Complete follow-up activities within established service level expectations. Stay current on banking products, services, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written). Strong verbal communication and active listening skills. Excellent customer service skills and professional telephone etiquette. Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and the ability to navigate multiple applications. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, onsite call center environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information. Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service or call center experience. Prior banking, financial services, or credit union experience. Knowledge of banking products, services, and financial regulations. Experience using CRM or customer service software. Education: High School
