Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) | Urgent Hire

The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) plays a vital role in providing comprehensive prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care to women. This position requires board certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) and the ability to work with diverse patient populations, including those with perinatal education needs, diabetes, and substance use considerations. The role demands strong clinical expertise and a commitment to maintaining professional licensure and standards in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care to women
• Manage perinatal education programs for expectant mothers
• Support diabetes management in pregnant patients
• Address substance use issues within the perinatal population
• Maintain compliance with all professional and legal requirements for Ohio RN/APRN licensure
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Required Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) credentialed through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife
• Ohio RN/APRN license or willingness to obtain Ohio licensure
• Experience with perinatal education, diabetes management, and substance use considerations
• Board certified

Shift:

• Full-Time
• Varied Schedule
• Weekdays: Two 8-hour clinic days and one 24-hour call day
• 1:4 Weekend Call Rotation (Friday/Saturday)
• OB Hospitalist Support Available

Salary:

• Base Salary: $140,000–$145,000 / Annum (Based on Experience)
• Productivity Bonus: $26 per wRVU (No Cap)
• $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
