LVN / LPN - Mobile Lab Tech | Day Shift (Mon-Fri) | "Urgent Need"

Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Point of Care Lab Technician

Location: West Sacramento, CA

Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Direct Hire

Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Compensation: $26 – $32/hour + Full Benefits

Important Requirement

• Must be able to travel daily to 2945 Ramco St., West Sacramento, CA to pick up and return a company van each shift

About the Role

We are seeking a Point of Care Lab Technician to support mobile diagnostic services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This is a great fit for LVNs/LPNs who enjoy autonomy, hands-on patient care, and working in a mobile setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform waived lab testing (Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Molecular)
• Conduct venipuncture and capillary blood collection
• Ensure quality control (QC) for all testing procedures
• Accurately enter patient demographics and test results
• Monitor and maintain STAT testing turnaround times
• Troubleshoot lab instruments and systems
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with lab standards
• Assist with specimen processing and documentation
• Follow all safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Must have ONE of the following:
• • LVN / LPN
  • Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
  • Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS)
• Active California license required
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience in phlebotomy and lab testing preferred
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a mobile/field environment
