Position Summary
The Clinical Manager – Care (Case) Management is responsible for leading the Case Management team, overseeing care coordination, utilization management, and discharge planning to ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care across the continuum. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, optimizes patient outcomes, and supports organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily Case Management operations and staff.
- Oversee care coordination, utilization review, and discharge planning.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and payer requirements.
- Monitor quality, patient outcomes, and departmental performance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, including 2 years in a leadership role.
- Recent acute care and Case Management leadership experience preferred.
- Current Nevada RN license and BLS certification (AHA).
- CCM or ACM certification preferred.
