Pediatric Cardiac OR RN (CVOR) - Acute Care | Sign-On + Relocation

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care for pediatric patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries. This role requires strong clinical expertise in pediatric cardiac care, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team to ensure safe and effective surgical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare pediatric patients prior to surgery
• Administer IV therapy and pre-operative medications
• Participate in surgical site verification and time-out procedures
• Monitor patients during surgery and respond to emergencies
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
• Collaborate with cardiovascular surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress
• Follow all safety, infection control, and clinical protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1+ year of acute care experience
• Pediatric (PEDS) experience required
• Experience with post–heart surgery patients
• BLS certification required
• ACLS & PALS (within 60 days of hire)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN required within 24 months)

Compensation & Benefits

On-Call Pay: $5.00/hour
