Ultrasound Technologist | Full-Time | Days | Great Benefits

The University of Kansas Health System – Great Bend Campus is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist to join its Radiology – Ultrasound department. This position offers day shifts with flexible 8- or 10-hour schedules and includes rotating weeknight and weekend on-call duties. Serving a vital role in diagnostic imaging, the technologist will perform ultrasound procedures to support patient care while benefiting from a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.

Schedule

• Day shift with 8- or 10-hour shifts (varied start times)

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations following established protocols
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
• Assist radiologists and healthcare team with patient imaging needs
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Participate in rotating weeknight and weekend on-call coverage
• Provide holiday coverage on a rotating schedule
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Adhere to departmental policies and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
• RDMS certification or ARDMS Board Eligible
• Current BLS certification

Pay

• $27–$35/hour (Based on experience)
