Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / LPN (Day Shift)

Job Summary

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides clinical and administrative support within a Family Medicine practice. This role works under the supervision of physicians or nursing staff to deliver efficient, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical procedures such as blood draws, injections, immunizations, and basic lab tests
• Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures
• Record and monitor vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration)
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked exam rooms
• Provide patient instructions as directed by physicians

Requirements

• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program (minimum 2 years)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS – AHA) certification
• LPN candidates are also eligible
