Registered Nurse - Trauma Operating Room

Job Description:

Title: Trauma OR RN – Nights | Level I Trauma Center

Location: Miami, FL.
Schedule: Full-Time Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation:

• Pay Range: $39.57–$53.34/hr. (based on experience) + Benefits
• Sign-On Bonus may be available case by case

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care in the Trauma Operating Room
• Prepare patients and operating rooms for trauma and emergency surgical procedures
• Monitor patient condition and respond quickly during surgical interventions
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and uphold safety protocols
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and sterile procedures

Qualifications:

• Current Florida RN license or Compact RN license required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current BLS certification required upon hire or within 30 days
• Current ACLS certification required upon hire or within 30 days
• Minimum 2 years of Trauma Operating Room acute care experience required
• MUST have Trauma OR experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Must live within 30 minutes of the facility due to mandatory on-call requirements
