Registered Respiratory Therapist

Shifts: Days & Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist performs a variety of diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures and monitors patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.

Responsibilities:

• You will conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.
• You will administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
• You will respond to emergent patient situations and ensure airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation as required.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Respiratory Care
• 1 year of experience preferred (less considered with relevant experience)
• RRT required (CRT considered with strong experience, but must obtain RRT)

Certifications (within timeframe):

• BLS – within 30 days
• ACLS – within 30 days
• PALS – within 30 days
• NRP – within 60 days

Salary Range: $24.93 to $33.59 per hour

• Shift Differentials: $2.33/hr Nights only
• Sign on: $15,000
• Relocation Assistance: Case by Case
