Physical Therapy Assistant - LTC

This Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) role is focused on long-term care (LTC) settings in Mansfield, TX. The position offers a guaranteed 40-hour workweek with 8-hour day shifts over a 13-week duration. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting physical therapy treatments in a LTC environment, ensuring patients receive consistent rehabilitative care.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in providing therapeutic interventions to LTC patients
• Support patient mobility and rehabilitation exercises as prescribed
• Document patient progress and communicate changes to the therapy team
• Maintain compliance with LTC facility protocols and safety standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PTA experience
• Valid Texas PTA license or compact license
