X-Ray Technologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring accuracy and patient safety while adhering to regulatory guidelines and maintaining high standards of care.

Responsibilities:

• Operate X-ray equipment to capture diagnostic images as prescribed by physicians.

• Position patients correctly and prepare them for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to imaging procedures.

• Follow all safety protocols and radiation regulations to protect patients and staff.

• Assess images for quality and clarity before submission to physicians for analysis.

• Provide clear instructions and empathetic care to patients of all backgrounds.

• Maintain and clean imaging equipment as per facility guidelines.

• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.

• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.

• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and relevant state regulations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
