Registered Nurse - Pediatric Cardiac ICU | Full Time

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric CICU to join a highly specialized team providing care to critically ill pediatric patients with congenital heart conditions and post-surgical needs in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, focusing on critically ill pediatric cardiac patients
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, family-centered care plans
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic patient environment
• Participate in CHSU initiatives and process improvements
• Incorporate patient and family education into all aspects of care

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate Degree required; BSN enrollment within 6 months and completion within 24 months
• Minimum 1 year recent Pediatric ICU experience in an acute care setting
• CCRN preferred

Unit Highlights:

• Pediatric patients (1 year and older)
• 14-bed unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 2:1
• Brand new program with 50–70 cases in the first year
• 18-week paid training/orientation (includes training at Medical City Dallas & Woman’s Hospital – travel, room & board covered)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $42.03 – $65.10/hour (based on experience)
• Sign-On Bonus: Case by case
