Job Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to oversee medication management, monitor patient drug therapies, and provide pharmaceutical expertise to healthcare providers. This role combines clinical pharmacy services with operational responsibilities to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and dispense medications accurately and safely
• Monitor patient medication therapies for safety and effectiveness
• Provide drug information and education to healthcare providers and patients
• Maintain medication inventory and pharmacy records
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Participate in formulary management and pharmacy operations
• Respond to emergency situations, including Code Blue events
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Requirements

• BS in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred
• Active New Mexico Pharmacist License (or eligible to obtain)
• 1–2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• New graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics
• Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Experience with pharmacy information systems and automated dispensing technology preferred
