Perm – Outpatient Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) | Southgate, MI | Full-Time Behavioral Health Role

A well-established behavioral health organization is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join its Adult Outpatient Therapy team in Southgate, MI. This is a full-time permanent opportunity (37.5 hours/week) focused on providing high-quality, person-centered mental health and co-occurring substance use treatment services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and comprehensive clinical evaluations
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions for adults and families
• Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and care teams
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in supervision, case consultations, and team meetings
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care
• Ensure compliance with agency, ethical, and state licensure standards

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
• Active Michigan LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLPC, LLP, or TLLP
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (including internship/fieldwork accepted)
• Ability to work independently in an outpatient setting
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Must meet state and agency credentialing requirements

Schedule

• Monday–Friday standard hours (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Some evening/weekend hours based on program needs
• 37.5 hours per week

Compensation

• Full License LMSW: $29.47 – $39.67/hour
• Limited License LMSW: $27.22 – $36.63/hour
• Pay is based on licensure level and experience (grant-funded role; rates are fixed and non-negotiable)
• Full-time: 37.5 hours/week
