Social Worker / Therapist (LMSW, LPC, LLP) "Quick Hiring"

• Role: Social Worker / Therapist (LMSW, LPC, LLP, etc.)
• Location: Southgate
• Type: Permanent
• Schedule: Primarily days, but evenings + some weekends required

Pay Range

• Fully Licensed: $29.47 – $39.88/hr
• Limited License: $27.22 – $37.36/hr

What Makes This Role Different

This is not a standard outpatient therapist job—it blends:

1. Crisis Response (Major Component)

• Work with local police referrals
• Provide telehealth crisis assessments
• Be available for real-time emergency calls
• Participate in on-call rotation (including after-hours)

2. Therapy + Case Management

• Ongoing therapy for:
• • Serious mental illness (SMI)
  • Substance use disorders
• Work with complex populations like:
• • Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT)
  • NGRI (Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity)

3. Care Coordination

• Help clients transition into long-term care
• Advocacy + service navigation
• Combination of telehealth + in-person + community visits

Schedule Reality

• Core hours:
• • Mon–Thu: 8:30 AM – 7 PM
  • Fri: 8:30 AM – 5 PM
  • Sat: 9 AM – 1 PM
• Plus:
• • On-call (shared)
  • Some after-hours crisis work (with stipend)

Expect schedule variability, even though it’s labeled “days.”

Requirements (Strict & Layered)

• Master’s in:
• • Social Work / Psychology / Counseling
• Michigan license:
• • LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLP, etc.
• Must obtain:
• • QMHP + SATS within 120 days
  • CAADC (or development plan within weeks)
