Position Overview
A leading Level II Trauma Center in South Florida is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join its Diagnostic Imaging team. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced technologists and new graduates who have successfully passed their boards.
The Radiology Technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining radiation safety standards.
- Follow patient safety and infection control protocols.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Provide excellent patient care and education throughout procedures.
Qualifications
- New Graduates who have passed state boards are encouraged to apply.
- ARRT Registered Radiographer required.
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist License required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- BLS Certification required within 30 days of hire.
