Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Clinic | New Hope, MN | Day Shift
Location: New Hope, MN
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Shift: Days | 10-Hour Shifts (80 Hours per 2-Week Pay Period)
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a busy outpatient clinic in New Hope, MN. In this role, you will support providers with both clinical and administrative duties while delivering exceptional patient care to individuals of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Room and prepare patients for examinations
- Record vital signs and patient history
- Administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection
- Conduct basic laboratory testing
- Assist with prescription refills and patient communication
- Provide front desk/check-in support as needed
- Stock exam rooms and medical supplies
- Assist with prior authorizations
- Perform X-ray duties if certified and qualified
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (ABHES/CAAHEP) or accredited RMA program
- Previous clinical experience required
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong communication and patient care skills
