House Supervisor – Patient Flow
Location: Great Falls, Montana
Salary: $83,000- $95,000
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
The House Supervisor – Patient Flow plays a key leadership role in overseeing hospital operations during assigned shifts. This position is responsible for staff coordination, patient flow management, and administrative decision-making, ensuring efficient operations and high standards of patient care.
You will collaborate closely with clinical leadership, charge nurses, and support staff while serving as a primary resource for problem-solving, workflow organization, and patient experience management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing and support staff
- Coordinate and optimize patient flow and resource allocation
- Interpret and enforce hospital policies and procedures
- Address and resolve patient and family concerns
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching
- Support administrative decision-making in collaboration with leadership and the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
- Ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care delivery
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
- Strong background in ICU or critical care preferred
- Experience with patient flow, charge nurse, or leadership roles
Licensure & Certifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – State of Montana
- CPR certification (required)
- ACLS & PALS (required or must obtain within 6 months)
