AML Analyst
Job Description
We are looking for an AML Analyst in Middlesex County, NJ. In this role, you will examine customer activity to identify transactions and assess patterns that may indicate suspicious financial behavior.
Responsibilities:
• Review customer accounts and transaction records to identify items that require further review.
• Analyze account activity and trends to identify unusual patterns or inconsistencies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation to support internal processes and reporting.
• Research customer information to verify details and ensure requirements are met.
• Escalate potential issues or concerns to the appropriate team for further review.
• Work closely with internal departments to complete reviews and resolve outstanding items.
• Manage assigned workload to ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Knowledge of anti-money laundering principles and financial crime compliance practices.
• Ability to review large volumes of account and transaction information with strong attention to detail.
• Analytical skills to identify trends, inconsistencies, and potentially suspicious patterns in financial activity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings clearly and accurately.
• Ability to work effectively in a face pace environment.
