QC Technician

QC Inspector

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented QC Inspector. The QC will be responsible for performing quality inspections on parts and assemblies throughout the production process to ensure products meet company standards and specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures, and accurate documentation of inspection results.

Responsibilities:

• Perform quality checks on parts, components, and finished assemblies
• Inspect incoming materials used for production
• Inspect in-process welding, fabrication, and final assembly
• Verify products meet specifications using prints, work instructions, and quality standards
• Perform measurements using tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, gauges, and other inspection equipment
• Document inspection results on required forms and production travelers
• Review returned products and report quality concerns
• Ensure procedures and work instructions are being followed
• Identify areas for improvement and communicate quality issues to appropriate personnel
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support final product audits and inspections

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• Previous quality inspection, manufacturing, fabrication, or production experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
• Basic math skills including measurements and calculations
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be dependable and maintain good attendance

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform inspections throughout the workday
• Ability to use hand tools and measuring equipment
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
