Key Responsibilities
- Assist with setup and breakdown of sleep study equipment (in-lab and/or home sleep testing)
- Prepare patients for sleep studies, including sensor placement and education
- Monitor patients during studies and ensure data quality
- Learn to score and analyze sleep data (training provided)
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain equipment
- Communicate with patients regarding procedures and expectations
- Support CPAP setup and patient follow-up when needed
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Interest in healthcare, respiratory therapy, or sleep medicine
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
- Comfortable working overnight shifts (if applicable)
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Background in healthcare (CNA, MA, Respiratory Therapy, etc.)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Prior experience with patient care or medical equipment
