About the Role
We are seeking an experienced early morning baker to join our production team. This role is ideal for a skilled baker who is confident working independently, understands fermentation and timing, and takes pride in consistent, high-quality bread and pastries.
Key Responsibilities
Bake sourdough bread from pre-fermented doughs, ensuring quality, consistency, and proper oven management
Prepare and bake pastries according to established recipes and standards
Mix and prepare doughs for the following day, including preferments and starter feeding
Monitor fermentation, proofing, and bake times
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace
Communicate production needs or issues clearly with the baking team
