Full Time: 40 hours a week including rotating weekend - Day or Evening shift
Pay rate: $17.30 with shift / weekend differentials when worked
The Housekeeping Aide performs a wide range of cleaning duties in all areas of the Nursing Home using specialized equipment and chemicals in order to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, staff and the public.
Specific duties include the following:
- Cleans all resident rooms and corridors on a daily basis.
- Vacuums carpeting and rugs: dry and wet mops floors.
- Washes windows.
- Cleans/dusts walls, windows, doors, ceilings, fixtures, stairways, elevators, entrances, and exits. Spot cleans between washings.
- Cleans bathrooms: cleans and disinfects all fixtures, floors and walls. Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Cleans and rehangs curtains and draperies.
- Empties trash when needed.
