Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Lifelong Behavioral Services is looking for reliable, happy, energetic people to be part of our team. We need you to have the desire to learn and grow with us.

WE GUARANTEE FULL-TIME WORK IF THAT IS WHAT YOU NEED, as well as part-time.

We are in Santa Rosa County and Escambia County, Florida! We offer in-clinic, in-home, in-school, and in-community services. We work with individuals with disabilities, ages 2-32.

Resume needed and must have a minimum of 2 references.

SIGN-ON BONUS with an active RBT credential in good standing, a RBT Number, and an active FL Medicaid Provider #, and you have the Login, password, or PIN to log into your Medicaid account as well as your NPI account, and is payable at 90 days.

Minimum Qualifications for Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Must hold and maintain current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician as issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must!
  • Must have a passion and the patience to work with children, adolescents, and young adults with disabilities
  • Must have a current BLS certificate done in a face-to-face setting, or be willing to obtain certification
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, valid car insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field or working towards a degree preferred

  • Have effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
  • Have the ability to read, interpret, and implement written clinical protocols
  • Record and input data correctly in the electronic data collection system
  • Write professional medical session notes with proper grammar and spelling
  • Should be familiar with running programs for language acquisition and interventions for behaviors
  • Experience working in center, in-home, in-school, and in community settings
  • Must maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the employee handbook. We provide shirts/apparel.
  • Must adhere to organizational policies and procedures
  • Must abide by the code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
  • Must pass Background Check (Level 2 and 3), we provide.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA laws
  • Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to home, community, school, and clinical skills, professional development, ethics, and technology, and training to perform job responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy, in clinic and natural environment
  • Collect, record, and summarize data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan in a Data collection
  • Provide regular daily written medical session notes with proper spelling and grammar, as well as meet the requirements of ANSI, funders, and the policy of Lifelong Behavioral Services
  • Implement individualized treatment plans by following skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols developed by BCBAs
  • Provide written and verbal progress updates with appropriate use of spelling and grammar on treatment goals to the BCBA
  • Effectively communicate with parents/caregivers as instructed by BCBA
  • Participate in team meetings and training workshops
  • Assist in preparing client materials as instructed
  • Participate in indirect work when not with clients
  • Ensure that the client is always in a safe and positive environment.
  • Follows the policies and procedures of Lifelong Behavioral Services
  • Be energetic and always engaged with clients ages 2-32
  • Responsible for completing and maintaining all required certifications and training once employed, including, but not limited to: CPR/BLS, Fingerprinting & Background Checks, RBT training, and other company in-services and training as directed by Lifelong Behavioral Services policies

Working Conditions:

  • Lifting up to 50lbs. and/or participating in continuous or strenuous activities for 4 or more hours indoors or outdoors
  • Managing time, implementation of specified programs, daily data collection for targeted skills, and communication with Clinical Director, lead BCBA and Lead RBTs (written, verbal, and/or in-person).
  • Sudden movements, sitting/standing for extended periods, kneeling, bending, reaching, twisting, and/or running.
  • Use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive), printer, laminator, and other office equipment

Pay: $17.50 - $24.00 per hour
