Assistant Superintendent

We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to become a part of our team! We are looking for individuals with strong written and verbal communication skills & computer skills and a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction which demonstrates expertise in supervising and coordinating all phases of field operations. A college or technical school degree in construction management, engineering or business is a plus.

Compensation:

$34.00/Hr + Per Diem when traveling.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination and supervision of all work on site to ensure project is completed on schedule, within budget and in accordance with Owner’s expectations
• Site safety including coordination with in-house Safety Officer
• Development of detailed project schedule
• Daily communication with subcontractors and suppliers
• Management of field changes including coordination with Project Manager to ensure all changes requiring budget adjustments are handled expeditiously
• Excellent communication with Owner’s and Architect’s representatives
• Maintenance of excellent project documentation

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial construction management
• Experience in healthcare construction a plus.
• Ability to interface with clients on project details.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
