Janitorial Housekeeper

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize all common areas, including hallways, lobbies, elevators, stairwells, community rooms, laundry rooms, public restrooms, and administrative offices.

Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.

Clean windows, glass doors, mirrors, handrails, light fixtures, and other interior surfaces.

Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of waste in designated collection areas.

Restock restroom and janitorial supplies as needed.

Maintain the cleanliness of entryways, sidewalks, patios, and other exterior common areas as assigned.

Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, water leaks, vandalism, pest activity, or damaged property to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.

Assist with preparing community rooms before and after resident meetings and events.

Maintain janitorial equipment and ensure cleaning supplies are properly stored and inventoried.

Follow established infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Use cleaning chemicals in accordance with manufacturer instructions and OSHA safety guidelines.

Assist with seasonal cleaning projects, including deep cleaning and floor care.

Respond promptly to emergency cleaning situations, including spills or other hazards.

Provide courteous and respectful customer service to residents, guests, contractors, and fellow employees.

Performs other duties as assigned.

$18.00 to $19.00 pay range

Monday to Friday

8am to 4pm 35 hours
