Licensed Mental Health Professional
Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker to become part of our mental health team. In this role, the clinician will deliver compassionate, evidence based services to pregnant women and children age 0-5 and their caregivers, supporting them as they work through personal challenges and pursue improved emotional well-being. The clinician will play an important role in fostering a welcoming and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel respected, heard, and empowered. This position provides an opportunity to create meaningful change in the lives of those served while contributing to a collaborative and mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
Perform thorough clinical assessments to evaluate clients’ behavioral health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapy using evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s circumstances.
Complete accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and other required records in accordance with licensing standards.
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary professionals to coordinate care and promote comprehensive client support.
Help clients develop coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, and practical tools for managing mental health concerns.
Inform clients about relevant community services and resources that may enhance their overall well-being.
Maintain strict adherence to professional ethics, confidentiality requirements, and state licensing regulations.
Engage in ongoing learning opportunities and professional development to remain current with emerging best practices in behavioral health.
