The Homebased Therapist - Child Welfare provides specialized therapeutic services for children under 18 and their families in a home-based setting. This role focuses on comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and delivering individual and family therapy tailored to the unique needs of child welfare clients. Operating primarily through in-person visits, the therapist maintains confidentiality while collaborating closely with a clinical manager and managing a caseload of 10-15 clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct client assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Provide individual and family therapy sessions
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies as needed
  • Monitor client progress and document case details accurately
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and refer to case management services
  • Advocate for client needs and maintain strict confidentiality

Required Qualifications

  • Professional Liability Insurance, minimum car insurance, workman's compensation or State of Indiana Waiver
  • Registered LLC,
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in child welfare therapy
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Masters Level Clinician
  • Expertise in child therapy, family therapy, and crisis management
  • Proficiency in trauma-informed care and case documentation
  • Strong communication, empathy, and cultural competency skills
  • Effective time management and confidentiality practices
