The Homebased Therapist - Child Welfare provides specialized therapeutic services for children under 18 and their families in a home-based setting. This role focuses on comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and delivering individual and family therapy tailored to the unique needs of child welfare clients. Operating primarily through in-person visits, the therapist maintains confidentiality while collaborating closely with a clinical manager and managing a caseload of 10-15 clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct client assessments and develop treatment plans
- Provide individual and family therapy sessions
- Implement crisis intervention strategies as needed
- Monitor client progress and document case details accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and refer to case management services
- Advocate for client needs and maintain strict confidentiality
Required Qualifications
- Professional Liability Insurance, minimum car insurance, workman's compensation or State of Indiana Waiver
- Registered LLC,
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in child welfare therapy
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Masters Level Clinician
- Expertise in child therapy, family therapy, and crisis management
- Proficiency in trauma-informed care and case documentation
- Strong communication, empathy, and cultural competency skills
- Effective time management and confidentiality practices
