Housekeeping Houseperson

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and service-focused Housekeeping Attendant to join our hotel team. The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and assigned spaces to ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all guests. This role plays a key part in delivering a positive guest experience through cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and assigned public areas according to hotel standards
• Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and restock room amenities and supplies
• Vacuum, dust, mop, sanitize, and polish surfaces in guest rooms and common areas
• Remove trash, used linens, and room service items promptly
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance concerns, and missing items
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management immediately
• Ensure all rooms are properly prepared for arriving guests in a timely manner
• Respond to guest requests such as extra towels, linens, or amenities courteously and promptly
• Maintain housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and supply areas in an organized manner
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures
• Protect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times
• Work collaboratively with front desk, maintenance, and laundry teams to ensure smooth hotel operations

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of hotel cleaning standards and procedures
• Experience using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented mindset with strong work ethic
