Office Dental Haven — Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Location: Franklin, TN Employment type: Full-time (part-time considered) Reports to: Office Manager / Lead Dentist

Dental Haven is a locally owned boutique dental practice in Franklin, TN, providing comfortable, modern preventive and restorative care. We emphasize gentle, evidence-based treatment, excellent patient education, and a team-oriented workplace with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to deliver high-quality preventive dental care, build strong patient relationships, and support our clinical team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to patient education and positive chair-side experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services: prophylaxis, periodontal scaling and root planing, coronal polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
  • Conduct periodontal assessments (charting, probing, bleeding indices) and document findings accurately.
  • Take and evaluate dental radiographs per practice protocol
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide patient education on oral hygiene, prevention, and home care.
  • Screen for oral disease and refer to the dentist for diagnosis and treatment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant clinical records and update patient charts promptly.
  • Assist with infection control, sterilization, and compliance with OSHA/HIPAA standards.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to coordinate patient care and ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Support practice growth through excellent patient rapport, recall management, and community outreach as needed.

Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in Tennessee (or eligible for Tennessee licensure).
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
  • Current CPR certification (BLS) required.
  • Experience with digital X-rays and dental practice management software preferred (specify if your office uses a particular system).
  • Strong communication and patient education skills.
  • Commitment to high standards of infection control and documentation.
