We are looking for the right person who could join our family practice. At this time we are looking to replace a wonderful Hygienist who will be leaving us shortly. This position is for Wednesday's 7:45 to 5 pm. Possibly one Saturday a Month
We are looking for someone to provide dental education by reviewing home care, oral hygiene instructions, and reviewing treatment plans with the patient. Perform dental cleanings, and fluoride dispensing.
Follow and practice all OSHA standards regarding infection control and blood borne pathogens. Perform oral cancer screenings and Perio assessments. Chart dental findings. Set-up and breakdown operatories and treatment bays before and after each patient. Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling).
