The Licensed Psychotherapist, will support the work of Therapeutic Sanctuary Counseling & Play Therapy Center, Therapeutic Sanctuary Inc., and provide exceptional clinical psychotherapy to clients. Specific responsibilities include:
Duties
- Provide clinical psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults with traumatic experience
- Diagnose and provide evidence-based interventions for various mental health symptoms
- Complete treatment plan, and assessments
- Trained and or knowledgeable in the following interventions: Play Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI)
- Respond to all client and collateral communications in a timely manner
- Attend all required trainings and staff meetings
- Excellent organizational skills, and documentation
- Maintain client electronic charts and ensure all documentation is current and accurate
- Sanitize and maintain the appearance of the waiting room, playroom, and personal work area
- Must exhibit professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- Must be proficient in Microsoft suites, internet usage
Minimum Required Education
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC-P)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT-P)
Experience
- Minimum of 6 months post-licensure experience
