Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while promoting oral health and hygiene. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with the dentist, dental assistants, and the front desk to ensure that patients receive comprehensive dental services in a comfortable and safe environment. Looking for a person who is great with people, older adults and kids as well. Is outgoing ,social and loves to help people.

PAY: $42-46 per hour

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
• Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe dental clinic environment.
• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
• Take medical imaging such as X-rays to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
• Assist in the management of medical records to ensure accurate documentation of patient care.
• Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide support in various dental office tasks as needed, including sterilization of instruments and preparation of treatment rooms.

Skills

• Strong patient assessment skills to evaluate oral health effectively.
• Proficient in aseptic technique to ensure safety during procedures.
• Experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
• Strong People skills,Social Skills
• Knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
• Familiarity with dental assisting practices is an advantage.
• For our older patients, Experience in gentle cleaning techniques is a plus
• Ability to manage medical records accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent patient care skills with a focus on comfort and education.
• Solid understanding of anatomy related to oral health.
• Knowledge or experience using Open Dental.
