Job Description
Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs sheet metal parts, equipment, and products by performing the following duties.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products.
- Install ductwork for new HVAC construction projects
- Lay out and mark dimensions and reference lines.
- Select the appropriate type and gauge of sheet metal to be used in projects according to specifications.
- Use hand and power tools.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience with sheet metal and a variety of tools.
- Construction experience.
- OSHA/SST certifications.
- Speak English/ Spanish is a plus.
