Dental Hygenist

Sunny Day Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a positive, patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our growing pediatric dental team. We pride ourselves on creating a fun, supportive, and team-driven environment where both patients and staff feel valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings and preventive care

• Take dental X-rays

• Assess oral health and communicate findings with the dentist

• Administer local anesthesia when needed

• Apply fluoride and sealants

• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene habits

• Maintain accurate patient records and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active Louisiana Dental Hygienist license

• CPR/BLS certification

• Strong communication and patient care skills

• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
