Inside Sales Engineer

We are looking for a motivated, detail oriented Inside Sales Engineer to support our Outside Sales team by developing projects, preparing quotations, and ensuring accurate and complete estimating information. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with customers and sales professionals, and contributing to successful projects, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer specification documents and transfer information to spec sheets.
• Investigate reference drawings e.g., previous jobs -scanned, 2D cad, 3D solid models to verify feasibility.
• Collaborate with salesmen to create spec sheets/quote entries based on their customer visits and notes.
• Create concept models and sales sketch drawings as needed.
• Enter spec sheet information into Epicor format (Quote Entry)– verify spec and estimate request accuracy.
• Document special considerations/project notes – attach to quote.
• Review scope of supply/ quote entries prior to estimating – Check box – OK to proceed.
• Attend lineup meetings – assist in Sales/Engineering hand-off.
• Assist Outside Sales with Engineering Change Notices (if needed).
• Monitor and track progress of web-based customer inquiries and correspondences.
• Monitor and track Sales Meeting Minutes.
• Occasional travel with salesmen may be needed for specific projects, but inside duties are the priority.
