The Work

You’ll work with clients who are:

• Managing chronic pain or injury
• Seeking functional improvement that supports their wellness or physical goals
• Seeking stress relief
• Seeking relief from specific musculoskeletal conditions

Requirements

• Active Michigan Massage Therapy License
• Ability to provide 30 min, 55 min and 85 min long sessions
• Receive training and provide the core massage services we offer: Massage for Stress Relief, Doubles Massage, Prenatal Massage and Mobile Massage
• Receive training and provide the advanced massage services we offer: Massage for Musculoskeletal Conditions, Massage for Functional Relief and Ashiatsu
• Willing to commit to the scheduled shifts for this position

Clinical Specialization Opportunities

We support therapists in offering specialized, niche services alongside Urban Massage’s core offerings. If you have a focused area of interest, we’ll help you develop and integrate it - provided it’s grounded in clinically supported, evidence-based techniques.

• 30 Minutes of turnover time automatically scheduled between each appointment

Hourly Wage

Starting at $25-$28 Per Hour ($38,000-$42,000 annually)

• We pay per hour worked at the office including time in between appointments.
• Urban Massage does not take tips for services. Our service pricing is all-inclusive.

• Unlimited continued education reimbursement after one year
